Day 1 - Arrival Day

Istanbul

Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. Once known as Byzantium and later Constantinople, Istanbul has served as the capital of three great empires — Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman. Today, it remains one of the world’s most captivating cities, straddling two continents, Europe and Asia. With its rich blend of museums, bustling bazaars, domes, minarets, palaces, churches, mosques, and vibrant neighborhoods, Istanbul is truly a melting pot of history, culture, and modern life. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy your first night in this fascinating city. Overnight in Istanbul

Istanbul City Tour

After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Istanbul’s historic treasures. Your tour starts at the Hippodrome, the ancient center of Byzantine civic life and the site of legendary chariot races. You’ll see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine, all silent witnesses to centuries of imperial pageantry. Next, visit the stunning Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, better known as the Blue Mosque, famous for its striking blue Iznik tiles and majestic architecture. Just across the square stands the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, once the Church of Divine Wisdom. This awe-inspiring monument, with its grand dome and golden mosaics, was the largest church in the world for nearly a thousand years and remains one of the greatest examples of Byzantine architecture. After a break for lunch, visit Asil Efendi, a delightful marketplace filled with the aromas of exotic spices, Turkish coffee, and sweets. Browse through stalls offering handmade ceramics, olive oil soaps, Turkish delights, and other souvenirs. In the evening, return to your hotel to rest or, if you wish, take part in an optional Bosphorus Dinner Cruise — a magical evening sailing between Europe and Asia, with dinner, unlimited drinks, traditional dance performances, and live music under the city lights. Overnight in Istanbul. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

OPTIONAL DINNER CRUISE ON THE BOSPHORUS TOUR: Tonight Between 19:30 to 23:30 we have an optional Entertaining Dinner Cruise program on the Bosphorus, where Europe and Asia are connected. You will spend an unforgettable night on the Bosphorus with dinner, unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic soft drinks, belly dance show, Turkish Folklore show, DJ Performance and great entertainment on Bosphorus Dinner Cruise. End of the entertainment at about midnight (00:00 am), transfer to your hotel.

Gallipoli Tour

Depart early in the morning for Gallipoli, a place of immense historical significance. After a short rest stop en route, arrive around midday and enjoy lunch before touring the World War I battlefields. Visit the Gabatepe Museum, then continue to Ariburnu Cemetery and Anzac Cove, where the Gallipoli campaign began. Walk through solemn memorials such as the Beach Cemetery, Lone Pine, and Chunuk Bair, each honoring the courage and sacrifice of soldiers from around the world. The day ends with a drive to your hotel in Canakkale. Overnight in Canakkale.     (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Troy Tour - Pergamon - Kusadasi

After breakfast, travel to the ancient city of Troy, immortalized in Homer’s Iliad. Explore the archaeological ruins and learn about the legend of the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. Continue to Pergamon for lunch, followed by a visit to the Acropolis, once a great cultural and political center known for its temples and grand library. On the way to Kusadasi, stop at a local jewelry center renowned for fine craftsmanship in silver and precious stones. Arrive in Kusadasi in the evening and relax after a day steeped in ancient history. Overnight in Kusadasi. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Kusadasi - Ephesus Tour - Turkish Village Sirince

Following breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Ephesus, one of the most beautifully preserved ancient cities in the world. Walk through Curetes Street, visit the Temple of Artemis, explore the Roman Baths, the magnificent Library of Celsus, and the impressive Grand Theatre. After lunch, stop by a traditional carpet-weaving center to learn about one of Turkey’s oldest crafts. Later, visit Sirince, a charming hillside village with Greek-style houses and cobbled streets. Known for its fruit wines, Sirince offers a glimpse into traditional Anatolian life. You’ll have the chance to taste local wines and even learn how they’re made. On your way back, visit one of the region’s renowned leather workshops for an authentic shopping experience. Overnight in Kusadasi. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Kusadasi - Pamukkale Tour

After breakfast, travel to Pamukkale, known as the “Cotton Castle” for its dazzling white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters. After lunch, explore the ancient ruins of Hierapolis, once a thriving Roman spa city, and enjoy the opportunity to bathe in its natural thermal pools. Later, visit a local textile factory and see why Pamukkale is also famous for its quality fabrics. You may choose to enhance your day with optional tandem paragliding over the travertines, offering breathtaking views of this UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening, relax at your thermal hotel and enjoy a dip in its soothing hot springs. Overnight in Pamukkale. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

OPTIONAL TANDEM PARAGLIDING: After Pamukkale Trip, we recommend you to Optional Pamukkale Paragliding tour. Make your Pamukkale Tour unforgettable by participating in Pamukkale Tandem Paragliding Tour. Enjoy a flight over the stunning and infamous White Mountain in Pamukkale and observe spectacular views over this unique area's attractions. Tandem Paragliding in Pamukkale is an ideal alternative experience for those who wish to feel some excited moments. It can also be the perfect way to explore the attractions from above and appreciate the beauty of the natural scenery. This tour will end approximately 17.30 and then you will be back to your hotel. We will stay in the thermal hotel, which has the most beautiful natural hot water of Pamukkale, and you can enjoy the hot thermal pool in the hotel.

OPTIONAL HOT AIR BALLOON TOUR: As an option, the next day, we will have the opportunity to take a Hot Air Balloon Flight over Pamukkale's unique white travertines early in the morning, if you want to experience this perfect and unique hot air balloon trip, please make your reservation before you go to Pamukkale. 

 

 


Day 7

Pamukkale to Antalya

Those taking part in the Hot Air Balloon tour will rise early to watch the sunrise over the ancient city of Hierapolis and the white terraces below—a truly unforgettable sight. After landing, celebrate with a traditional champagne toast before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the morning, depart for Antalya, a scenic drive of about four hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.  The trip is going to take roughly 3 to 4 hours. Once you reach Antalya, check in to your hotel and rest of time is yours.  Overnight in Antalya. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Antalya Old City Tour and Waterfalls

Begin the day with a tour of Antalya’s historic Old City, known as Kaleiçi. Stroll through narrow cobbled streets lined with Ottoman-era houses, and see landmarks such as the Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, the Broken Minaret, and Hidirlik Tower. Each site tells a story of the city’s evolution from Roman to Byzantine to Ottoman rule. After lunch, visit the breathtaking Duden Waterfalls, where crystal-clear streams tumble dramatically into the Mediterranean. Return to your hotel for dinner and relaxation. Overnight in Antalya. Antalya - Konya – Cappadocia

After breakfast, depart for Cappadocia with a stop in Konya, the spiritual heart of Turkey. Enjoy lunch and visit the Mevlana Museum, home to the tomb of Rumi, the 13th-century Sufi mystic who inspired the Whirling Dervishes. Continue to Cappadocia, arriving in the early evening. Settle into your cave-style hotel and perhaps join the optional Turkish Night Show, where you’ll enjoy folk dances, belly dancing, and traditional Anatolian cuisine in an authentic setting. Overnight in Cappadocia. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
 

Please Note: If you wish to join our optional activity of Cappadocia Hor Air Ballooning for tomorrow, please contact with your guide and register because it will take place early the next morning.

OPTIONAL CAPPADOCIA TURKISH NIGHT SHOW: During the evening at 19:30 PM., we have an Optional Tour to enjoy our Turkish Night Shows, which are traditions that have survived from the Ottoman Empire to the present day. You may have great fun in the real caves, with the rich Anatolian food menu, unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, belly dance show, Turkish Folklore show, DJ Performance and warm service of Anatolian Hospitality.

Cappadocia Tour with Underground City and Goreme Open Air Museum

An early morning Hot Air Balloon flight is available for those who wish to witness Cappadocia’s surreal landscape at sunrise — a magical sight of fairy chimneys and valleys glowing under the first light. After breakfast, begin your full-day Cappadocia tour with a visit to Özkonak Underground City, one of the best-preserved examples of the region’s ancient subterranean settlements. Continue to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, where centuries-old cave churches display stunning frescoes depicting scenes from the life of Christ. Next, explore the village of Çavuşin, known for its abandoned cave houses, and stop in Avanos for lunch and a pottery-making demonstration. Visit Love Valley and Devrent (Imagination) Valley to admire their unique rock formations before ending the day at the famous Three Beauties -the iconic fairy chimneys that symbolize Cappadocia. Cappadocia to Istanbul - End of Tour

After breakfast you will have free time in Cappadocia. Today we depart for Cappadocia Airport for our domestic flight to Istanbul and then back to home. The IBMT Bar Mitzvah tour was fantastic! It was the perfect blend of family time and peer group time, of sites with religious/historic significance and just plain fun. The guide was personable and informative, and even the bus driver was great. All the details were attended to and you didn’t have to concern yourself with or worry about a thing. It was a true vacation. We would highly recommend it to anyone. If you are going to Eilat, Petra is a must!

We went on a church group to the Holyland with IBMT Tours and had a great trip, everything was planned for us perfectly. There was over 123 people in four different bus groups and things went smoothly, I thought it was going to be hectic with that many people in the group but IBMT did a wonderful job and made sure the buses did not go convoy, every bus had its own time table and itinerary for the day, our guide Dani was so knowledgeable and loving. We love you IBMT and we will recommend you guys. Thanks for everything you have done for us.

We just returned from Israel on an IBMT Bar Mitzvah Tour for our three grandsons.  We had enough family members to warrant our own bus.  After checking out many tour companies we went with IBMT and all of us were glad we did.  The hotels were fabulous and the rooms allotted even more so.  From the INBAL in Jerusalem, KFAR BLUM in the Galilee, the SHERATON in Tel Aviv, to the ROYAL BEACH in Eilat we couldn’t have asked for more.  Our meals were equally excellent.  Beginning with a welcome reception at the INBAL to the closing dinner at the CANAAN restaurant in Tel Aviv one and all loved them.

It was a busy tour made even more so by my husband who was determined the grandchildren see “everything”.  Fortunately for us, we had the best guide when Ornan (from IBMT) gave us GADI.  All of the groups loved their guides but Gadi was  special.  He was able to reach the kids (ages 7-13) as well as the adults.  His knowledge, willingness to adjust the schedule, and good nature gave him a soft spot in all of our hearts.  He filled in at Yad Vashem when the guide droned on a bit too much for some of us.  He searched out a cemetery where a father, grandfather and great grandfather was buried and proceeded to enlighten us on the rituals and customs of a military cemetery.  He adjusted our times to include those little extras.  When weather precluded the camels, we visited Qumran.  After the Bar Mitzvahs, some wanted to walk down Masada - again, no problem. 

We loved everything.  Friday night dinner with an Israeli family (coincidentally the husband was from Toronto), meeting the soldiers on the kibbutz, the Druze lunch, sampling different foods at the shuk, the bullet factory and on and on.  Although the weather was precarious in December, it didn’t stop us and we were able to celebrate Chanukah in Israel...menorahs  everywhere, sufganiyot of every kind, celebrations in the street galore.

Would we recommend this tour...without a moments hesitation.  We had a family trip of a lifetime.  Thank you also to our bus driver Louie, whom we all loved and who got us around safely.

Loved the trip! The itinerary was fantastic and really kept us moving. We were able to see and do so much. Best of all was our tour guide Natalie. She was very kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of Israel.
