Day 1 - Sunday
Bogota
Upon arrival you will be met with IBMT Tours representative and will be transferred from International Airport “El Dorado” to the hotel
Day 2 - Monday
Bogota (City tour with Monserrate)
After breakfast, a staff member will meet you at the hotel to take you on a tour around the historic center of the city. The first stop will be, at Plaza de Bolivar to walk along the streets and take a close look of the most important buildings of the city, such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country’s legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. The tour includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures and a visit to the House Museum Quinta de Bolivar, the house belonged to Simon Bolivar. The tour continues to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Monserrate Hill rising up to 3,152 metres above sea level, to visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. From there, it is possible to enjoy the best view of Bogota. Time for lunch (Included) in Casa Vieja Restaurant. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 - Tuesday
Bogota | Villa de Leyva(Salt Cathedral and Boyaca)
After breakfast, one of our representatives will pick you up in the hotel to start a road trip to Villa de Leyva, one of the most romantic and well-preservedcolonial towns of Colombia. On road, you will have a first stop in Zipaquira where You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Underground Salt Cathedral, built 180 meters below the surface in Zipaquira. Time for lunch (Included) and continue the trip to the historic place “Puente de Boyaca” where we´ll have a brief stop and finally arrival to Villa de Leyva. Overnight.

Entrance to the underground Salt Cathedral is not recommended for persons with mobility restrictions, claustrophobics and pregnant women.
Day 4 - Wednesday
Villa de Leyva (City tour)
After morning breakfast, you’ll have a guided tour around Villa de Leyva, it will take you across the churches, colonial buildings, The Paleontological Museum and the Santo Ecce Homo Convent. Afternoon at leisure and overnight.

Day 5 - Thursday
Villa de Leyva | Raquira | Bogota
After breakfast, according to schedule time transfer to the nearby town of Raquira, famous for its crafts. There you’ll can participate in an interactive workshop. First, a local artisan will instruct you in the technique of elaborating the basic forms for the modeling of clay in a lathe and will provide the necessary elements and materials to make figures. At noon, you’ll start the journey back to the city of Bogota. Arrival at the hotel and overnight.

Day 6 - Friday
Bogota
Good morning! It is now time for you to wrap this tour full of good memories of your beautiful vacation. It will be our pleasure, to plan your next tour for any of our world wide tours. After breakfast, according to your departure flight transfer to the airport for your return flight.
